These sessions involve an intake interview with one of the peer counselors, completing the urine-based pregnancy test, reviewing results and discussing any issues of concern. You will be asked to sign a consent form giving the St. Croix Valley Life Care Center permission to perform the pregnancy test. About the TestOur pregnancy test is 99% accurate if you have missed your period, but drugs or other factors can affect it. Only a physician can provide 100% confirmation of pregnancy. You may also schedule to have an ultrasound done for confirmation by our on site nurse.
Be aware that if your test is positive today, and you have any medical problems and/or are on any medication, you should consult a physician immediately.
If your test is negative, you may return in 10 days for a retest.
NOTE: First morning urine has the highest concentration of hormone HCG, which your pregnancy test is designated to detect.
