Direct Services
- Client Services Assistant - This position is vital to our everyday service of love and support to women and babies. Welcome and greet our clients and guests, assist clients, sort donations, answer phones, and help with general office work, light cleaning, or your choice of a variety of projects each time you work with us!
- Peer Counselor – Help guide our clients through the difficult choices they must make by providing them with love, truth, information, and an open ear. Assist clients in applying for funds and baby equipment, keep our resources up to date, be a mentor.
- Administrative Assistant - Want to work more “behind the scenes”? Support us with all of the work of the Client Team…except the interaction with clients! You keep our center up and running in a welcoming and efficient manner.
- Maintenance Crew - Are you a “handy” man or woman? Lend a hand with maintenance, repairs, heavy-lifting, outdoor beautification – anything that takes a little sweat and ingenuity. Regular light cleaning and upkeep of center.

Behind the Scenes
- On-Call Volunteer - Looking for an occasional or one-time volunteer opportunity with little commitment? Could you volunteer with us with as little as two days notice? Sign up to be on our list and we’ll contact you when needed. Provide support in wide variety of duties for projects that arise, like mailings, or when extra help is needed at an event.
- Fundraiser - Help us develop the most effective strategy to stay afloat and thrive. Work with the Special Event and Promotions teams to manage and implement effective and efficient fundraising activities.
- Marketer/Promoter - Get the word out: about us, our services, our events, and our needs! Help us with marketing, outreach, graphic design, literature distribution, table staffing and events, or even as a speaker on a variety of topics.
- Special Events - Adopt a fun and fruitful fundraising/promotional event that becomes your “baby” from start to finish! With the SCVLC staff, you can plan, manage, and implement an annual or new event, or be a part of the volunteer committee that will pull off the event.
Board of Directors
- Help our clients from the inside out! All non-profits like us need a governing Board. Get an inside peek at our operations while you lend your expertise and experience to make sure that they run as effectively as possible for those we serve.
- The Board meets once per month and members support various fundraising activities throughout the year.
